The Museum of Gumelnița Civilization with Olteniţa Municipality organizes the Town Days, April 10 to 13, a series of cultural events designed to celebrate the most important moments in the history of the city.

The program will include a photo exhibition "Old Oltenița" open at Olteniţa’s City Hall, Friday, April 10 at 14:00, a parade of military uniforms of the nineteenth century, belonging to the association "Tradiția Militară" that will march Saturday, April 11, at 11:00 through Central Park and a scientific session in which they will discuss topics related to local history, which will take place on Monday, April 13 at 10:30 at City Hall, Olteniţa.

Those eager to know the history Olteniţa are invited to participate in large number in the events announced.Alongside with the event organizers are Dr. Alina Mușat Streinu and drd. Marius Streinu.
