Friday, January 23, at 14:30 and Saturday, January 24, at 11:00 in the Great Hall and the Council Room of City Hall Olteniţa takes place two activities dedicated to the Unification Day - The history competition, accompanied by a short artistic exhibition and Symposium January 24, 1859 - January 24, 2015 - aceeiasi simţire pentru tot românul .Activities are organized by Technological High School "N. Bălcescu" and Museum of Gumelniţa Civilization, Olteniţa.

On Friday manifestations will participate six teams from many schools from Olteniţa Municipality and other surrounding municipalities, and at the Saturday manifestations will participate history teachers, representatives of the local museum and the City Hall. Works that are presented in the symposium are prepared by prof. Hociotă Constantin, prof. Mavrodin Nicolae, prof. Barbu Lidia, prof. Niculiţă Liliana and prof. Florin Stan.
