Museum of Gumelnița Civilization, Olteniţa organizes on 15 January 2015, at 12:00 tapestry exhibition “Ce-ți doresc eu ție, dulce Românie”, dedicated to the national poet Mihai Eminescu and the National Culture Day.
The exhibition hosted by the museum belongs to the artist Lia Maria Andreiță, outstanding personality both in terms of the visual arts and literature, the author of several exhibitions in the country and abroad.
Work done by Mrs. Lia Maria Andreiță throughout her life from the profession of diplomat MAE (Minister of Foreign Affairs) with missions abroad to the Romanian embassies in France and Italy, a member of the Artists Union of Romania, member of the International Academy of Modern Art - Roma, a member of the Society of Journalists in Romania, a member of the International Federation of Journalists has imposed as a messenger of Romania in the world, but also as an artist and writer.
She received the 1985 National Award of Tapestry, in 1995 The Diploma of Deserve and the Silver Medal of the International Academy of Modern Art in Rome, in 2004, Leopardi Jubilee Medal" from the World Center of Poetry" Giacomo Leopardi "-Recanati (Italy), her work being widespread all over the world in private collections. The value that the artist bears towards the poet Mihai Eminescu is reflected in some tapestries dedicated to him, whose birthday today identifies with the National Culture Day.
